Description : Health and Wellness exhibition in GHPS, Karol Bagh Hosting a healthy and wellness exhibition at school is a great way to share information with students, staff, families and the community about leading a healthy lifestyle. Keeping this in mind, Guru Harkrishan Public School, Karol Bagh conducted an exhibition on 18th May 2019 in the school premises. The topics like meal planning, health wellness, harmful effects of junk food, importance of indoor plants were explored. The students came up with creative and unique way to exhibit each topic. The stalls were setup related to Meal planning, Healthy Foods, Natural Mosquito Repellant Oils and plants which help to purify the air. The stalls were taken care off by the students of the school. A PowerPoint presentation was displayed about effects of Obesity to make everyone aware about its harmful effects. As the exhibition was setup during the Parents Teacher meeting, the efforts of the staff and the students were much appreciated by the parents visiting the school. School Principal, Ms Jasvinder Kaur appreciated the efforts and thoughts that this was a unique effort on the part of the students and was full of praise for the students in her speech.
