- Every parent is expected to extend full co-operation to school staff and management in running the school efficiently.
- Parents are requested to enter the school premises in proper dress to set an example to the students. Sikh gentlemen are expected to visit the school in turban.
- Parents will visit the school only during visiting hours or at the appointed time.
- Parents will not enter the unauthorized area and disturb the students.
- Parents will check the Almanac of their ward daily for the remarks from the teachers.
- They will maintain the leave records in the “Leave Records” page in the Almanac.
- Parents should see that their wards do not bring mobile phones, private cars, motor cycles and scooters to school.
Forbidden Practices
Furthermore, the Delhi School Education Rules 1973 have laid down under section 36 that no student shall indulge in any of the following practices, namely:
- Disfiguring or otherwise damaging any school property.
- Smoking, rowdyism and rude behavior.
- Use of violence of any form.
- Use of drugs or intoxicants except on prescription by a registered medical practitioner.
- Casteism, communalism or practice of untouchability.
- Any form of gambling.
