Description : Salute to Our Roots on Grand Parents Day 19 September 2022 To honour the unconditional love ushered by the eldest members of the family, the students of Guru Harkrishan Public School, Karol Bagh celebrated Grandparents Day with abundance of respect and admiration. There was a special event for the occasion.The Primary Segment Classes began the event with the rendition of School Shabad followed by a fabulous Cultural Show show cased by little children and other interactive games for grandparents. The children were very excited to see their grand dad or grand mom participate in the games and cheered them wholeheartedly. The grand parents were very sportive and brought out the child in them through their active participation. The fond affection for their grandchildren reflected in the very fact that they held the hands of their respective grandchild while performing some of the games. The children seemed like a motivation factor for everyone to give their best. S. Paramjit Singh Chandhok, the School Chairman thanked every grandparent for their presence and for their continuous support and guidance to children. Ms. Jasvinder Kaur - the School Principal admired the relationship between grandparents and grand children. Ms Gobinder Kaur - the School Headmistress ended the show with her stupendous Vote of Thanks speech calling the Grand Parents as roots of legacy.
