Description : G.H.P.S KAROL BAGH CELEBRATES JUNIORS' ANNUAL CULTURAL GALA EVENT Guru Harkrishan Public School Karol Bagh celebrated Juniors' Cultural Gala event with great zeal & enthusiasm on 24th of February, 2023. The entire stage was decorated with the natural scenery of trees and flowers as the theme of the event was “Basant”_ The Spring. a season of rejuvenation and new beginning. The program was graced with the presence of School’s Chairman. S. Paramjit Singh Chandhok, the senior vice chairman S. Jujhar Singh and other distinguished guests. The program started with the rendition of school Shabad in Basant Rag by the students of Primary Segment. Addressing the large gathering of students and their parents, the Principal of the school presented a detailed report on the school’s happenings as well as the glorious achievements of the students of classes X & XII who passed their C.B.S.E Board Exams with flying colors as well as their marvellous participation in Zonal as well as District level competition.. The Chairman sir also appreciated and congratulated every participant for making the annual day a memorable day. The spring of joy took over when the tiny tots enthralled the audiences with their scintillating dance performance in colorful dresses by their welcome song which was followed by the play ‘Thumbelina’_ a fairy tale thrillingly enacted by the tiny tots with a message of kindness and compassion. Another dance performances on the song “Rang de basanti” and the blooming flower dance of young artists of the school won the hearts of the large gatherings. The next Nukkad Natak performance of the students of Primary Segment sensitized everyone about their responsibility to preserve environment followed by the drill which exhibited students’ agility and physical fitness. The main attraction of the program was the Punjabi Bhangra performance which enthralled everyone. The memorable day ended with the votes of thanks by the Head Mistress. Ms. Gobinder Kaur.
