Description : Guru Harkrishan Public School Karol Bagh participated in grand Nagar Kirtan on the eve of Martyrdom Day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib conducted by D.S.G.M.C on 17th of December,2023. A large number of sikh devotees gathered at Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib to pay obeisance to the holy place. Led by Panj Piyaras, the procession comprising of devotees from various places , school children and Gatka organizations, started from Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib with deep devotion. The school students and other groups of devotees recited shabads composed by Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib who sacrificed his life for religious independence and for the protection of human rights. The decorated nagar kirtan, was received with great warmness by the sangat at various locations.The participation in Nagar Kirtan gave everyone a chance to know the incredible history of martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib.
