Description : GHPS KAROL BAGH ORGANISES NURSERY PARENTS ORIENTATION PROGRAM. With an aim to familiarize the parents of the newly admitted tiny tots ,with the school's teaching methodologies and co scholastic activities as parents in progress, Guru Harkrishan Public School Karol Bagh organised Nursery Orientation Program for the parents on 10th of April,2024. The program gave a platform to both teachers and parents for open communication, mutual respect and a clear understanding of what is best for a child. The program commenced with a Shabad rendition by the students of Primary Segment followed by a warm welcome to the parents by a welcome song.The Principal of the school .Mrs Jasvinder Kaur addressed the parents by showing a comprehensive Power Point Presentation on the plethora of activities done by the students of Pre Primary and primary segment in the previous year year. Parents were made aware of special efforts done by the school to enhance learning amongst the students. She also laid emphasis on the active involvement of parents in the upbringing of their wards and on active synergy among parents and teachers for the holistic development of the child. Mrs. Mandeep Kaur also familiarize the parents of the teachings pattern and activities to educate the children. She further accentuated the thought " A parent is a teacher at home and a teacher is a parent in school and the child is the centre of our universe."The attraction of the day was Bhangra & Gidda performance by the tiny tots. The program ended with a question answers session in which the parents interacted with the teachers.
