Description : 78th INDEPENDENCE DAY OF INDIA CELEBRATED AT G.H.P.S.KAROL BAGH WITH PATRIOTIC FERVOR With an aim to honor the sacrifices of countless freedom fighters of India and inculcate the love for the nation amongst the students , Guru Harkrishan Public School Karol Bagh celebrated 78th Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic zeal on 13h of August,2024 in the school premises. The program was graced with the presence of school’s Chairman, S. Paramjit Singh Chandhok, Senior Vice Chairman, S. Jujhar Singh and other guests. The celebrations commenced with the soulful Shabad rendition by a group of students followed by Principal's address to the gathering in which she urged the students to grow up as responsible and conscientious citizens of India so that its glory keeps soaring high. Addressing the large gathering, the Chairman of the school expressed his heartiest greetings to all and urged everyone to build the nation with untiring diligence and unity. The unfurling of the flag was followed by a presentation on the supreme sacrifices of our great freedom fighters and the melodious rendition of patriotic song. It was a day of love and respect for the country instilling amongst the students the value and reverence for the gift of freedom by great freedom fighters of the country.
