Description : Today, a special assembly was held at Guru Harkrishan Public School, Karol Bagh, to raise awareness about the harmful effects of crackers. The students of Class 4 presented a short skit that emphasized the negative impact of noise and air pollution caused by bursting crackers during Diwali. The skit aimed to encourage fellow students to celebrate a Green Diwali by using candles, lights, sweets, and new clothes, without resorting to crackers. In addition, students were also educated about the significance of Bandi Chhor Divas. They actively participated in the event and pledged to celebrate Diwali by decorating their homes with lights, enjoying healthy food, and refraining from burning crackers.
