Description : A special morning assembly was conducted in Guru Harkrishan Public School, Karol Bagh dedicated to the upcoming Baisakhi festival. It started with a melodious shabad rendition " peevo pauhal khandedhar hovai janam suhela" by the students, followed by Ardaas and Hukamnama. Later, the Punjabi teacher threw light on the cultural, historical and spiritual significance of Baisakhi. She further emphasised how the formation of Khalsa Panth fostered the spirit of courage, equality and dedication to truthful living. She inspired everyone to renew their spiritual values, community service (seva), and moral living. The students were also urged to make their own notes by listening to the speeches delivered in the morning assembly.
