Description : Celebrating the Divine Light of Compassion 21 July 2025, Monday: The Management, Staff, and Students of Guru Harkrishan Public School, Karol Bagh, observed Prakash Purab, the birth anniversary of their eighth Guru, Shri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji, with great reverence and joy at Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Karol Bagh. On this occasion, many dignitaries were present to pay obeisance. The Sehej Path done for the occasion concluded with the rendition of Shlok Mehalla Nauva. The students gave awe-inspiring presentations on the life and teachings of the Guru Sahiban in the form of shabads, sakhis, and speeches. In addition, week-long activities were conducted in the school premises, such as a Sakhi Competition on the life sketch of the eighth Guru and decoration of school bulletin boards. Educating the students, the School Chairman, S. Paramjit Singh Chandhok, shared how Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji graced humanity with his divine presence for a brief period but left an everlasting impact on Sikhism through his teachings and compassionate deeds. The School's Senior Vice Chairman, S. Jujhar Singh Virk, further motivated students to reflect on the profound legacy Guru Sahib left behind. While speaking on this auspicious occasion, the School Principal, Ms. Jasvinder Kaur, also emphasized the importance of following the path of spirituality, drawing examples from the life of the revered Guru Ji.
