Description : With the aim of promoting environmental awareness, sustainable living and instilling a sense of responsibility towards nature among students, Guru Harkrishan Public School Karol Bagh organised a tree plantation drive on the joyous ocassion of Hariyali Teej on 26th of July, 2025. Students from various classes, and teachers enthusiastically participated in planting a variety of saplings including Neem,Tulsi Gulmohar and other native species within the school premises and nearby areas. Adding to the significance of the event, the school's Chairman - S. Paramjit Singh Chandhok and Sr. Vice Chairman -S. Jujhar Singh also joined in plantation drive encouraging students through their active participation and inspiring words. Their presence motivated everyone and reflected the school management's strong commitment to environmental conservation. Addressing the gathering, the Principal of the school, Ms. Jasvinder Kaur emphasised the need for sustained efforts to protect nature. Overall, the tree plantation drive was a meaningful initiative that beautifully blended the tradition, environmental action and community involvement
