Description : LEADERSHIP IN ACTION: GHPS KAROL BAGH INSTALLS STUDENT COUNCIL WITH PRIDE The Investiture Ceremony of GHPS Karol Bagh was held with great zeal,and dignity on 4th of August, 2025 in the school premises ,marking a significant movement of pride and purpose in the school's calendar. With the aim of instilling leadership qualities, promoting responsibility & accountability, encouraging teamwork & collaboration and inculcating discipline and integrity, the investiture ceremony was conducted wherein students were entrusted with various responsibilities. The selection of Head Boy & Head Girl was carried out through a democratic, merit_ based process and interviews wherein factors like general behaviour and attendance as well as discipline were taken into consideration. Other students aspiring for the prefectural positons also underwent interviews and the most deserving candidates were selected based on their leadership potential, communication skills,attendance and a sense of responsibility. The Headgirl and Headboy of Guru Harkrishan Public School, Karol Bagh for the Session 2025-26 are Arshpreet Kaur of Class 12 B and Saksham Singh of Class12 A . The ceremony began with a soulful Shabad rendition followed by Ardaas and Hukamnama, invoking the Divine blessing for the student leaders as they stepped into their new roles. The student leaders took on oath promising to uphold the school's values, principles and tradition. Addressing the gathering ,the Principal of the school, Ms. Jasvinder Kaur congratulated the newly elected council members and emphasized the importance of leading with integrity,humility and strong sense of responsibility. The ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks followed by National Anthem leaving everyone with a sense of pride and renewed motivation.
