Description : To awaken the spirit of Khalsa valour amongst the students, ‘Khalsa Sirjana Divas’ was celebrated at GHPS Karol Bagh on 11th April 2019. A special assembly was held to mark the occasion. It started with the shabad rendition by the students of Primary Segment – “Deh shiva bar mohe ee hai” which was followed by a talk on the importance of ‘Khalsa Sirjana Divas’. The heart – touching poems in Punjabi and Hindi were recited by the students. The poems beautifully glorified the historical background that paved the way for the creation of ‘Khalsa Panth’. The Principal of the school also highlighted the great sacrifices made by the Khalsa warriors. The drawing competition on the theme of ‘Baisakhi’ was also conducted for the students of Primary Segment where they showcased their creativity. The motive behind the celebration was to apprise the students of their great cultural heritage. The celebration infused the spirit of service and fearlessness amongst everyone.
