Description : With a motive to improve in teachers preparation and professional development, a three days workshop on effective classroom management strategies was conducted by Mrs. Mandeep Kaur, a senior teacher of Guru Harkrishan Public School Karol Bagh. The day one was dedicated to the collective discussion on the importance of classroom management and its components, structuring the school and classroom environment, teacher student bonding, employing active supervision of students' engagement, rules and routines, enacting procedures to encourage appropriate behaviour. The day two was dedicated to the implementation of various strategies wherein the teachers were divided into various groups for carrying out the activities of effective learning environment by using rules, procedures and routines. The day three was dedicated to handling the behavioural issues, disruptive atmosphere, importance of five P's in classroom, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, covenant management of interpersonal relationships etc. The workshops ended with the submission of feedback forms by the teachers It was a very informative and useful workshops
