Description : With the view to educate the students about the importance of conservation and thereby raising greater awareness of the environment, G.H.P.S Karol Bagh celebrated The Earth Day through a series of activities on 24th of April 2023. It was started with special morning assembly in which the students, through their talks, laid emphasis on the importance of GOING GREEN and taking care of the planet earth. Addressing the gathering of the staff and the students, the Principal of the school, Mrs. Jasvinder Kaur urged the students to improve the health of the mother earth by living in harmony with nature as well as preserving and conserving the planet. The students and the staff also took a pledge to preserve there self sustained earth and produce less waste.The students of middle and senior segment participated in the slogan writing as well as poster making competition respectively on the topic 'SAVE ENVIRONMENT' The day was marked not only by awareness but also enthusiasm on the part of the students.
