Description : GURU HARKRISHAN PUBLIC SCHOOL KAROL BAGH ORGANISES JUNIOR SPORTS DAY With an aim to promote holistic development, physical fitness,team work, discipline and character amongst the students ,the Junior Sports Day was organised by Guru Harkrishan Public School Karol Bagh on 6th of December,2023 in the school premises. The 100 young sports stars from Pre Nursary to Class 5 participated in the sports meet with great enthusiasm. The sports meet gave all participants a chance to showcase their resilience and strength. The program was graced with the presence of school 's Chairman, S. Paramjit Singh Chandhok and Sr. Vice Chairman ,S. Jujhar Singh. The event started with the shabad rendition followed by welcoming of the Chairman & Vice Chairman. Addressing the large gathering of the students,the Principal of the school,Mrs. Jasvinder Kaur, welcomed all the participants and teachers and highlighted the importance and values of sports in the life of the students. The competition consisted of four categories of races,i.e Flat Race, Banana Race, Shuttle Race and Frog race.The winners were awarded with certificates and medals. Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs Mandeep Kaur.
