Description : NAGAR KIRTAN DEDICATED TO THE 555th PRAKASH PURAB OF GURU NANAK DEV JI ATTENDED BY GHPS KAROL BAGH Ahead of the 555th Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, D.S.G.M.C organised a grand Nagar Kirtan on 14th of November,2024 in which GHPS KAROL BAGH along with other branches of GHPS took part with religious fervor and enthusiasm. After the Ardaas, the Nagar Kirtan headed by Panj Pyaras ( five beloveds ) started from Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib with devotees and the staff of various branches of Guru Harkrishan Public Schools chanting Naam Simran and holy hymns of Guru Nanak Sahib. Followed by the congregation some sikhs displayed their skills in Gatka, a part of Sikh culture and history. The students chanted sacred hymns from Gurbani. They also displayed the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji on placards for general public. The goal of the Nagar Kirtan was to celebrate the great Sikh heritage inviting the local community to partake in the joyous occasion. The event was really filled with cultural festivities and sacred hymns that inspired every attendee.
