Description : “A Day with Our Roots — Honouring Grandparents at Guru Harkrishan Public School, Karol Bagh” Grandparents’ Day was celebrated at Guru Harkrishan Public School, Karol Bagh, on 4th October 2025 with great enthusiasm and warmth. The event aimed to honour and appreciate the important role that grandparents play in the lives of their grandchildren and in laying a strong foundation for them. The celebration began with a Shabad recital by the tiny tots, which created a serene atmosphere. The occasion was graced by Chairman, S. Paramjit Singh Chandhok; Vice Chairman, S. Jujhar Singh; and other dignitaries. The students presented a variety of cultural performances, such as a welcome song, an action song, and the iconic Bhangra of Punjab. There were also many engaging activities for the grandparents, including tongue twisters, Antakshari, slogan writing for their partners, and on-the-spot surprise gift rounds, which filled the atmosphere with joy and laughter. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Mandeep Kaur (Coordinator), followed by refreshments for all the attendees. The entire programme was a grand success under the able and sincere guidance of the worthy Principal, Ms. Jasvinder Kaur. It was truly a moment to be cherished forever.
