Description : JUNIOR SPORTS DAY CELEBRATIONS HELD AT G.H.P.S KAROL BAGH Guru Harkrishan Public School, Karol Bagh organized the Junior Sports Day celebration on September 20, 2018. The event began with Shabad rendition. The students of Primary Segment participated with great zeal in the spectacular sporting event. The Principal of the school Mrs. Jasvinder Kaur initiated the event by her motivational speech in which she encouraged the students to take active participation in various outdoor activities to remain healthy in life. The set of energizing exercises performed by the students, created an atmosphere of enthusiasm. Once the race began, the air was filled with cheering and tones of encouragement for the young athletes. Students of Classes Pre Nursery to V competed class wise in the events including Frog race, Relay race, Banana race, Spoon lemon race, Drop the penny race etc. The winners of the events were awarded with the certificates by the Principal of the school. Fun time with teachers’ race added to the enjoyment. The Head Mistress of the school Mrs. Gobinder Kaur finished the race and appreciated the efforts made by the students and staff. The sports Day Celebration boosted the morale and determination of the students.
