Description : GRAND PARENT’S DAY CELEBRATED AT GHPS KAROL BAGH Grand Parents are a family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, the keepers of traditions and values. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close at heart. To honour them, the grandparent’s day was celebrated at GHPS Karol Bagh on 26th September, 2018. The function started with the Shabad rendition by the students of Primary segment. Addressing the grandparents and the dignitaries, the Principal of the school Mrs. Jasvinder Kaur welcomed everyone by her heart touching speech in which she highlighted the role and importance of the grandparents in creating happy families. The occasion was graced with the presence of S. Paramjit Singh Rana, M.C.D Councillor and Chairman Dharam Parchar Committee and S. Harvinderjeet Singh Raja, Former Manager of the School. The chief guest S. Paramjitt Singh Rana in his speech accentuated the need for parents to benefit from the great experiences of grandparents. After welcoming the grandparents and the dignitaries with a welcome song which was followed by a dance performance, all the grandparents were invited for quiz round as well as dance performance. The next amazing show was the Punjabi skit that emphasized on living life enthusiastically. The last enthralling performance was Punjabi dance which added fun to the entertainment. In the end Mrs. Gobinder Kaur, the Head Mistress offered vote of thanks for the grandparents. It was indeed an ecstatic experience for everyone.
