Description : Senior Music Team of GHPS Karol Bagh win laurels for the school. The students of G. H. P. S Karol Bagh made their school proud by winning third prize in 3rd Sardar Inder Singh memorial Interschool Gurbani Kirtan competition organised by Mata Gujri Public School at Gurudwara Singh Sabha GK Part I on 10th October 2018. The students were judged by the renowned and respected personalities that included S. Manohar Singh, S. Nirmal Singh and Mrs Jasvinder Kaur. Each team was given 8-10 minutes to perform Kirtan in the same raag of the shabad. The mesmerising performances of the students created the divine atmosphere in the Gurudwara sahib. The parameters of judging student's performance were clarity of 'swars', accuracy of taal, and devotional touch in singing. It was indeed a great honour for the students of G. H. P. S Karol Bagh to receive the cash prize of Rs. 1100 along with certificates from S. Tarlochan Singh ji and Principal of Mata Gujri School. The program ended with thanks giving ardas, hukumnama and distribution of parshad.
