Description :Celebration of the 75th anniversary of Independence The 75th Independence Day of India was celebrated in solemn and dignified demeanor at Guru Harkrishan Public School, Karol Bagh on 17th August, 2022. The event was preceded by our honorable chairman, Sd. Paramjit Singh Ji Chandhok, manager sir S. Jujhar Singh Ji along with the principal Ms. Jasvinder Kaur. The dignitaries hoisted the national flag at the school premises and expressed their respect to the flag. The cultural program began with a soul-stirring Shabad recitation by the students from primary and secondary segment. It was followed by patriotic poems and songs recited by the students. The students also dressed up like freedom fighters to commemorate the 75th anniversary of independence. The major highlight of the event was the Bhangra dance performance by the students from primary segment which captured the interest of the viewers. Chairman S. Paramjit Singh Ji addressed the students and delivered his speech highlighting the importance of the day. School Principal, Ms. Jasvinder Kaur said, that she is happy to notice what today’s students think about freedom and it is necessary to inculcate this feeling within us. The event was full of patriotism and enthusiasm that kindled a sense of love for the country within the students. Jai Hind!!
