Description :Teachers’ Day was organized by Guru Harkrishan Public School Karol Bagh in the school premises on 5th of September, 2022 with due respect through a variety of colorful programs. The main moto of the celebration was to appreciate the role played by the teachers in the lives of the students. Long before the day of the function, the students had been busy preparing to make the day a success. The program was led off with a Shabad rendition by the teachers themselves followed by the heart touching speech by the Principal madam, Mrs. Jasvinder Kaur on the teacher’s importance in the lives of students and the crucial role they play.The function was also graced with the presence of the Chairman of the school, S. Paramjit Singh Chandowk who felicitated the teachers for their outstanding contribution in various fields by giving away the appreciation certificates& making them feel more valued. The students presented a variety of programs that included speech, poem recitation dedicated to the teachers, Nukkad natak, solo dance, medley of old songs- the all times favorites , group dance and the Bhangra performance. The school appointees took over the running of the school for a day and acted as substitute teachers in the class rooms. The fun filled program and a time of merry making ended with the hearty lunch.
