Description :An award giving ceremony to the meritorious students of Guru Harkrishan Public School, Karol Bagh was held on 20th May 2023. The ceremony was in collaboration with LIC whose supported the idea of providing Free Students Safety Insurance Policy upto Rs. 1 Lac free of cost. Chairman of the school S. Paramjit Singh Ji Chandhok alongwith Mr. G.C. Das, the chief manager of LIC were invited as the chief guest for the award ceremony. The School Senior Vice Chairman S. Jujhar Singh Ji, S. Paramjit Singh Ji Hora- Member SMC, Mr. Harish Kumar Gupta, Ms. Kalpana – the LIC agents also graced the event with their presence. The event commenced with the school shabad. The school Principal Ms. Jasvinder Kaur and Chairman Sir addressed the gathering and appreciated the students for their efforts. The programme began with a poem recitation which was followed by a welcome fake watches speech. The Chief Guest also addressed the parents and the students of the school. It was preceded by the distribution of awards to the students for their academic achievement in Session 2022-2023. Students who achieved 1st and 2nd Proficiency were awarded with trophies and certificates were given to the students receiving 3rd proficiency. The prize giving ceremony was followed by enthusiastic Bhangra performance. The programme was concluded with the National Anthem followed by Principal’s short instructive speech and declared the end of the programme. The refreshments were distributed to the winners before closing the Award Ceremony.
