Description :NEWSPAPER READING COMPETITION HELD AT GHPS KAROL BAGH “Reading is to mind what exercise is to the body”. In order to inculcate the reading habit among the students an Inter House Newspaper Reading Competition was organized by the respected Principal, Ms. Jasvinder Kaur on July 16, 2018 in the school premises. In this contest four students from each House participated enthusiastically and exhibited their reading skills. The contestants read the newspaper with proper pronunciation and accuracy. Baba Zorawar Singh House and Baba Jujhar Singh House bagged the first position while Baba Fateh Singh House came second and third position was taken by the participants of Baba Ajit singh House. The winners were felicitated as well as appreciated for their fabulous presentation by the Principal Madam as well as by the Vice Principal Madam. The Incharges of respective Houses i.e Dr. Manju Karki (Baba Zorawar Singh House), Ms. Harinder Kaur (Baba Jujhar Singh House), Ms. Harbinder Kaur (Baba Fateh Singh House) cosplay re zero starting life in another world and Dr. Uma Murali (Baba Ajit Singh House) were also appreciated for their sincere efforts in preparing the students for the event. The competition provided a platform to the students to enhance their personality and confidence.
